Meet Kelly

Hello!

I am an Advanced Rolfer, SEP, dancer, performer and general movement enthusiast.

During my professional dance career, I experienced a number of different physical injuries that brought me physical pain, restriction and frustration. I was introduced to Rolfing through a yoga instructor. Much to my surprise, the work provided me long term relief of my physical pain and sparked energetic shifts in my body and perspective.

In 2013, I graduated as a Certified Rolfer from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO and have since become a Certified Advanced Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I have a full-time private practice and healing arts studio located in Concord, NH. I aslo offer online SE sessions and will be a Beginner Level approved session provider for SE students by the end of August 2025.

I love the integration of holisitic hands on therapy, intelligent/mindful movement and Somatic Experiencing. I have a particular interest in helping clients through dissociative patterns, developmental trauma, perfectionism and chronic pain conditions.

When I’m not with clients, I love to dance and am grateful my body allows me to occasionally perform. Traveling and spending time in nature with my two rescue dogs and family fills my heart.

My Educational Credentials Include:

  • Advanced Rolfing Certification- My Advanced Rolfing Training took place at the Claymont Center for Continuous Education in WV under the instruction of Tessy Brungardt and Ellen Freed in 2016. This training increased my range of touch and ability to work with the body’s subtle movements. Additionally, I learned specific spinal and pelvic manipulations applied to efficiently and gently unwind rotations in the body structure.

  • Rolf Movement Integration Certification- In 2017, I completed additional training in movement studies. This work helps the client adapt efficiently to their environment through the exploration of inner and outer body sensations in relation to self and others.

  • Cranial Manipulation- In 2017, I completed a year-long training of cranial studies with Jim Asher of the Colorado Cranial Institute. Cranial work uses light touch to release restrictions within the soft tissue system that influence the brain and spinal cord (Central Nervous System).

  • Somatic Experiencing- I recently earned my SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) credential after completing the 3 year training and additional required sessions and case consults.

  • SE Assistant- I am currently assisting a local in person Somatic Experiencing Beg & Int Training. I feel honored to be able to give back to the SE community in this way and deepen my own understanding of the work through a facilitator lens.

  • Rolf Movement Teacher in Training- I am currently in the Teacher in Training program at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO. About once a year I travel to Boulder for 1-2 weeks to assist Rolf Movement classes. This is preparing me for the potential of joining faculty at the Rolf Institute.

  • Dance- I have trained extensively in different forms of dance with a primary focus on classical ballet. I danced for several companies before retiring in 2012. I continue to teach ballet and pointe technique classes to advanced students and perform with Ballet Misha, a local company. I also offer Adult Beginner Ballet classes at my Concord studio.

  • Yoga- My personal yoga practice informs my connection to my physical and mental self and allows me to maintain openness and strength in working with clients.
